We are somewhat unusual and I suspect not child friendly and so I know I have never been asked to be a godparent to anyone. I wonder if this is a feature of autism??

My daughter has 5 godparents - one is a long-time family friend who is autistic. Another of them, a cousin, is Asperger's (undiagnosed but really obvious). 
I'm thinking very hard but I can't actually recall of any other children I know who have anything other than close family godparents - autistic or not.
