As an Autistic adult,where would i go to seek an ADD diagnosis assessment?...

I was diagnosed f84.5 Autism ASD last year at 51.. I know there are many other co morbids but they werent addressed at the assessment centre.

ADD,,,,Cannot focus on anything, unless im in one of my obsession phases......Not so much bouncing off the walls ADHD Now, not at this age(51) but could never focus at school and since...

  • a month ago, i watched a video on ADHD ( youtube ) because I believe I have it as well ( 5-10% of all men apparently do so it very common )  I am like you i was diagnosed with autism but i have a very spiky mind which can jump in great leaps to all sorts of things.  The oddest thing is it explained the roll of adrenaline ( extreme sports )  and stimulants to stop the inattention. 

    let me know if u do take some action because I am interested in what can be done.

    Having said all that my jumpy mind can suddenly connect 2 things together and solve a problem a completely novel way so its not all bad.  Many creative people have ADHD.
