Talking about Memory and Learning

Hello everyone!

The last days I have had some questions in my head and I would be happy, if you have time and space to answer them :)

How good is your memory?

Mine is really bad, which makes learning new languages extremely difficult. Therefore I was wondering if any of you guys are also struggling with that.
Do you have anything that helps you learn more effectively?
And what do you do to stay focused?

I also am not so good with remembering faces. Or who said what.
Can you relate? Also what helps you remembering?

I would also like to hear your stories regarding that topic :)
Thank you for reading and answering!

  • Hi! I’m so glad someone has brought this up, I have terrible memory and don’t remember faces very well. Especially with everyone wearing masks these days. I try and repeat to myself information or I immediately tell someone so they can remind me important stuff. I always thought with autism you had to have an amazing memory, so to hear someone else has the same issues is refreshing. I do remember specific information or events or I’ll remember repetitive stuff (like learning to crochet). I don’t really have much advice on the matter as I’m useless but that’s my experience Slight smile
