6 year old Aspergers and wetting herself

Hi guys, my 6 year old daughter is currently going through diagnosis for aspergers, she has gone through stages of wetting herself at certain times of year from when she was potty trained.  It seems to always happen when the weather starts getting colder.  She did it again at the start of winter last year but now she has just started doing it again.  She has only done it at home so far but I am really worried its going to alienate her even more if she does it at school again.  We have also always had problems with wiping, flushing, hand washing with her.  Is there anything I can try.  Also this has been the worse Christmas so far in terms of her aspergers she is stimming a lot more, generally very bad concentration.

Thanks

  • I don't have experiences of this at home but when my son was 5 he went through a stage of doing it at school, he was potty trained before the age of 3.It wasn't until I sat him down and asked him why he was doing it that I found out a girl in his class was telling him if he didn't do it she would tell the teacher and get him in trouble (something he always managed without being told to do something naughty) after I explained to him that it wasn't something he should do he stopped. Or could it be possible that she has a water infection? or anxious about something? again at the age of 7 my son wasn't using the toilet at school (held it in until he got home), we thought it was because of the sound of the toilets flushing, again it turned out a boy had punched another child in the face and caused a nose bleed in the toilets and he wouldn't go in because there was blood on the floor. Then he started holding himself when he was at home because he was scared the toilet would overflow when he used it and needed someone with him when he went.
