Just wondering the spookiest story you ever heard or witnessed this time of year
I knew I'd had a brain injury and I'm an engineer so I wasn't frightened - more like fascinated that the chemical imbalance in by brain was allowing my subconscious mind to create a false reality for me in parallel to my conscious mind. I was more interested in finding the edges to see how my brain dealt with the discontinuities and seeing how far my own brain could keep generating a false reality.
It gave me a new perspective on UFO and ghost hunters - if they are convinced that they have seen something, I'll agree with them. There was nothing there, but their brain has convinced them there was. My brain was very efficient at creating falseness - so how real is my reality. If I'm driving on the motorway, do any of the other cars really exist or is my brain creating them - like the person on my sofa or the dog in the hall.....?
