Convicted for asking for help when suicidal

It seems bizarre to me to have been convicted for doing what is the basis of Samaritans advice. I was convicted for a 5 second phone call asking for help from a financial advisor who had lost me £250,000. The police and a large bank were prosecuting me and the media only reported the police allegations.

i am appealing but not confident I will survive.

i wondered about writing a book about autism in the criminal justice system

would anyone be interested.

julian Assange is in a similar situation and so was Gary McKinnon

the media love it all

  • Does no one understand the distress of this?

Only one responder and that is negative

  • Dave,

We'd all love to help you - but it's really very clear that you don't want help - you have your own crusade going on - even though you know you're fighting a long lost cause.

Everyone says that you need to put it behind you and move on - and use the fire inside yourself to light up the world rather than incinerating those around you.

I just hope you can move forwards someday.

  • I do want help , but being told to stop thinking of my obsession is not something I find possible. It seems like you also are stuck in your thinking with your reaction to me.

My case is waiting to be heard in the appeal court and has been for a whole year . They have just returned from their 3 months summer break!

  • You are way off the mark. It was the police and a large bank who have manipulated the facts, but many seem to think they would not do such a thing. To convict me for following the whole basis of Samaritans ethic? The only person ever. It is helpful to realise the belief that many have about the police though. But they used fake information from a fake website to humiliate and nearly kill me

  • I think you are not seeing the whole picture Plastic. Just because Dave is intelligent doesn't mean he is always on top of things. He's human and nobody understands everything. Every one of us who is diagnosed Autistic is disabled enough for us to be vulnerable and Dave even though he has had great success is no exception. Most bad people do things in groups, and that happens a lot, every day, all around us. Corruption is everywhere. If David had an ulterior motive I don't think he would lay down what he is aiming for so plainly. Frankly I think you're out of line and need to stop assuming things about him.

  • I apologise in advance if this is too blunt - and it's just my own personal measurement

You have to understand that I see patterns - my aspie super-power.   This may be well off the mark but like I said, your pattern of posting sets off all sorts of alarms.

Your posts look very much like an attempt to pervert justice by laying down a long and detailed 'suitably autistic' trail of 'evidence' for a lawyer to then use as 'proof' that you couldn't help your actions all those years ago and that you are trying to hook new users in to your plan to provide suitable backup.    The sort of 'evidence' that might be used at, say, an appeal?

You seem to claim a naivete in your actions but you're not a simpleton - you're a highly skilled and qualified person and none of the things you did were 'accidental' or could possibly be claimed as such.

Again, the repeating pattern of posting give the impression of a highly manipulative person - like fishing for naive supporters - and on a site full of vulnerable people, it makes me uncomfortable.

I just get a nagging feeling that you're trying to use us for your own ends.

Sorry again if I'm way off the mark.

  • Please let me know what you think my ulterior motive is. I am very honest and clear I thought
