The Office videos - HAHAHAHA!

I love how oblivious he is. Come on now, let's laugh at ourselves! He has more than a little of the Autistic in him, I'd say!!!

Parents
  • My motivation is low at the moment I have to say. I feel absolutely useless.

  • If it's any consolation, my motivation is shot to pieces and has been for a few months. The last two months has been the worst I've ever been for motivation I think. I feel like it'll pass (or begin to gradually recover) once all the c*vid sh*te is over with.

I feel like society is failing me more than me failing at the moment.

I hope a bit of motivation returns for you. If it's possible to not be too hard on yourself, that could be good ?

    Wishing you well either way.

PS another quality clip from Mr Brent giving it his all. I think I'd get along ok with him as a boss. He might be a jerk, but at least he doesn't give too much of a monkeys.

  • Thank you. I'm sending good wishes your way too. I'm also sick of Covid. It's virtually impossible to meet any new people. I never used to much anyway but I'd at least like to try.

I'm sure society is failing you. I feel it fails many of us Autistic people. Too many barriers and lack of accommodations.

I'd also like a boss like Brent, if I was working! He doesn't seem overambitious so isn't pushing people too much. It's bosses who are always strict who are the worst. When I volunteered in charity shops, even in them the people above me were very stern!

  • I'm with all the way on these. Yeah, to have the chance/option to meet some new folks would be really good again. And overambitious bosses - ugh, yeah. I had a very poor boss at a charity too. Two very nice ones, one really not nice - and, as you say, overambitious and selfish (probably a bit damaged at heart -the trouble being that some people try to patch over their own damage through subtle bullying - oh well).
