Also a while bunch of those people with a diagnosis are children. I'm only in my 30s and autism in girls was just not diagnosed when I was in school because it was a boys problem

more like 500,000.  Of these some dont all know about this forumn or unable to use it  because their autism is so severe.  You also have to bear in mind that a major component of autism is being antisocial so some come in stay a while then wander off. Some in here dont interact and only read whats here.

I quess you could ask the Moderators what the number of registered members and what the number of actual active members are. 

When diagnosed I wasnt told about NAS at all. Then I found the forum(community) by accident. when reading the main NAS website articles.

I am a member of a antisocial group near me it has a membership of 2000 but the meetings find it hard to achieve 20!. I have never attended one I'm too antisocial !  

Why is it so empty? There are millions of Autistic people in the UK. Something isn't right.
