Fed up with constant change of rules

The government changing the rules all the time is doing my head in.

I run a youth theatre group and I make plans as to what to do within the constraints of the law and then they change the rules.

Then there is the social thing. We are a family of 3 so now we can only meet another family of 3.

Plus it all seems so inconsistent. You can go to a pub full of strangers (not that I would) I can sit in the staff room at the school I work at surrounded by people, I can go to the cinema but I can't have my friends round for dinner or go to my book club with every member allowed to come.

I hate having to parade my autism by wearing my sunflower lanyard and I don't go into local shops in case I see someone I know

  • Yes I totally agree there is so much that can be said why a lot of it doesn't make sense. For me the biggest mystery is that the long-term effects of restrictions are a lot worse than the virus itself and I think it is crazy all this with masks etc. when we only have about 10 deaths per day which are mostly older people above the average life expectancy anyway and may not even be dying from covid. It may seem harsh to say that but I really think the knock-on effects are even worse and could kill more people
