Hello all,
My son has Aspergers and he is 6 1/2 years old. He has never been good at walking, it may appear that he is lazy, but infact for some reason to do with his co-ordination he has trouble walking for a certain length of time.
He can walk and has no physical disability at all, it just appears that for us who walk along naturally without giving it any thought, it appears that it does not come natural for him and he seems to be almost telling himself how to move each step and it just seems to tire him so much.
Is it like this for anyone else ?
The reason for my post is that in general day to day things we get along, but if we go away on holiday or out for the day it would be so handy just to be able to put him in a push chair for when he just cannot move another muscle. But at 6 1/2 that would just look strange. Any ideas for any other method ? I was just looking on the internet but was not sure where to start.
Any suggestions would be most welcome.
Iced.
