Can aspergers get worse? 6 year old

Hi all, we are currently trying to get a diagnosis for Aspergers for our 6 year old daughter.  Thing is over the last few weeks we have noticed her behaviour has got a lot worse.  For example today she was singing in the choir at church and she was dancing through the whole song (she wasn't meant to be), she was also kneeling up and looking all around during the service (she does get distracted but not usually this bad)  Lastly when they gave her the christingle she got very anxious and so the teacher had to blow the candle out (she has been to this service several times and never had a problem with the candles before).  Generally she has been much more distracted and a lot harder to get her to listen.  Her teachers have also noticed the worsening of behaviour so its not just me picking up on it more.

Basically I am just wondering if she is gonna deteriorate and get worse or could it just be down to the tiredness and excitement of Christmas (although I never remember her being this bad before?)

I am kind of new to this and am very worried so anyone who could help or give some words of advice I would be very grateful.

  • Normally,  my Aspergers fluxs with anxiety with social conditions.., the OCD, sensory overwhelmed, adrenalin, IBS kicks in.  It is the Environmental conditions which are affecting her,, the mistake Nts makes is the adaption is harder for people Autism,, so it may just be a simple case, off TOO MUCH GOING ON, for her. Observe her in a quiet/rest zone and see if there is any difference in her behaviour. You sounded embrassed in the situation, DON'T BE.
