I am super panicking now! I am flying on 21st August to Scotland and I can't find anything that says BA will accept my sunflower lanyard and face mask exemption card.
Also, my 10 year old autistic son doesn't mind wearing a full ninja mask ! But I don't know whether he would keep it on for an hour 40 mins.
Super worried now. What can I do?
That's awesome! I'm glad he phoned up and got it confirmed that it's ok British airlines are usually really helpful.
My husband has phone BA special assistance and they were brilliant and we have been reassured it is ok and the sunflower lanyard stand in both airports and the plane.
Call BA or the CAA.
I'm not sure what the rules are regarding flying and masks. I'd suggest you to contact British Airlines, probably by phone or email as post would take too long. Contacting them is the only thing you can do I think.
I hope you can get it figured out.
Have you spoken to the airline? I would assume that the same rules apply to riding on a bus or train - but who knows these days - random rules every day.
