Alternatives to 'traditional' employment

Hi all,

Just a question I wanted to ask fellow aspies here regarding working.

Those of you who found employment of any traditional kind full time or part time, difficult or impossible to sustain in the long run for whatever reasons, what do you do for an occupation instead?

  • I have a masters degree in engineering but didnt last long in engineering jobs or enjoy them.

Now I have a very unconventional alternative to employment which is unheard of and something which I usually avoid discussing for a number of reasons including misconceptions and also wouldn't like to encourage others into this game because I know how hard it is. I do sports trading/betting professionally using a mathematical system. After being banned from most boomaker websites I only do it on an exchange platform now similar to the stock market except the competition is easier. It involves reading charts and suits me because I work from home and don't need to speak to everyone. Luckily my obsessive personality allowed me to put in the 1000s of hours of study that it took to learn and become proficient in, although I am still quite early days on this I enjoy it much more than employment.
