How can you deal with reaching life goals at a different time to NTs?

Just remember - it’s like the ugly duckling story. 

NTs mostly make a choice to stop learning when they hit about 20... That’s when the swans return (aspies) and see just ducks bobbing around. 

I was the ugly duckling. Always behind the NTs as a child. Now those NTs are mostly on the verge of cancer or heart attack. 

Unhealthy and unfit. 

I am as fit as a 19 year old at nearly fifty and a polymath. And still can take up any discipline I want and be an expert within days or weeks. 

Even NT professors are ducks with restricted minds and body’s. I know a few and I am more advanced in their discipline even though to me it’s just a passing obsession. 

Also - I am friends with a Judge QC. 

We talk about laws and legal matters and how the mind remembers things and recalls things that happened or happen and how they can be interpreted in a court of law or by a jury. Guess what - the Judge has a rough understanding of the ‘internal model’ aka the Forum Internum but doesn’t really understand how the mind works. Not in the same way as I do. The Judge is very experienced and has worked in as a QC for as long as I am old. But still - the ‘Swan’ does understand and all I had to do is just think about it for a while :)
