In my teens through to my 20s, if stressed my brain would stop and id fall asleep. I could be at someones house, at a table, anywhere. I never sought help just thought it was normal!
Now I'm older I dont sleep but my brain still shuts down. I cant think, cant move, cant talk. I get tired but dont sleep
Anyone else had similar?
Thank you for replying Roswell. Its really hard to deal with isnt it. It's now like my brains frozen like a computer screen
Yeah I've had similar to the brain shutdown you describe.
My communication skills I've noticed on occasions began to wither and I was becoming more still and when people were talking to me the replies I gave were in shorter sentences, or even just one or two word replies.
Trains of thought get lost too. Then I get back home, spend an hour in my own company and function more again.
