I need somewhere I feel more safe to live.
Dear Roswell,
I have had the same issue of wanting somewhere safe to live after so many troublesome flats and noisy neighbours. I do understand your need. I recently went to look at a bungalow and it is just what I have been looking for, quiet and rural. It has take me a while and quite a few battles so please do not give up, I do know it is hard but now house viewings are allowed and there is a home out there for you and I wish you success in looking and hope you find your ideal home.
Nick
Thank you for wishing me well.
So sorry to hear this. I’m unaware of your current situation. I hope the Helpline gives you hope that there are alternatives to your current situation. I may be able to help. If you wish to message me or give me further details of what you need, what your current situation is, or if you’re comfortable sharing what part of the country you require housing in. Depending on your situation, I know of someone who’s currently looking for a new tenant. They are very autism friendly.
Thank you for caring Lorraine, I will try calling the helpline.
Hello Roswell
I'm sorry to hear that things are challenging for you at this moment with your housing situation.
You may like to contact our Autism Helpline team who can provide you with information and advice. While they aren't able to offer specific housing advice, they may be able to signpost to useful resources or contacts that may be able to help. They may also be able to discuss the fact that your son is currently in a mental health ward, and whether there are any options that you may be able to explore.
You can contact the team via telephone on 0808 800 4104 (Monday to Thursday 10am to 4pm, Friday 9am to 3pm). Please note that the Helpline is experiencing a high volume of calls and it may take a couple of attempts before you get through to speak to an advisor. Alternatively, should you prefer to send a message, you can do so via their webform:

I hope this is helpful.
Best Wishes
