Failure to be a friend

Everything is a bit heavy going these days. 

I'm not blaming them, I'm just feeling like I hit a low now and failed to meet some personal goals I set to befriend people. My partner thinks I'm an anti social  douchebag as well and reminds me every day. 

...There was a reply from "Racoon" but as I typed, it was deleted? If "Racoon" reads this, then there is no need to delete Yourself... just explain Your reasons for what is said. A lot of people post here while upset. Your deleted reply read as fine to Me. 

...I keep saying this upon this forum - I never ever post when upset, angry, or tired. And I never ever edit/delete My posts (after a reply to them), it just adds to confusion.

I am Posting a bit much here, now, as if Monologue-ing... I shall quit now. Recuperate, All concerned, & Good Fortune To You.

...I forgot to add (!)... One almost never knows when "it's going to happen again". This is true, and so REST from the stress of keeping in mind so many other persons' problems... until Y'Own Superpowers-Of-Interacting-Upon-Certain-Internet-Forums returns. (& I have said *that* before also.)

It happens to even those of Us who have been here for a long time. (& I have said that elsewhere.)

Be kind to yourself, it is the intention that is critical here, if you had no intention of hurting anyone you can't control how words are perceived by others - that is outside your control, it happens through this sort of medium sometimes

No, but it was straight after my comment. Then they deleted theirs so I can't remember it.

Don't worry - forums are just amplified versions of NT society - even this ASD forum is run by NTs and designed for NT chit chat. I have been banned from three forums in the last three months - who cares. So I said the wrong thing to the leader of the pack on one of them and on the other I got sick of the MODs just deleting whatever they don't agree with so told them in no uncertain word to eff the hell off. 

Forums are fake and not reality - they're a waste of time and energy and generally leave users feeling empty and inferior. That is the way they are.

Upsetting people and misunderstandings are all part of life.

I have done more than  my fair share,  here and in real life.

So don't get upset.   

With age and life experiences, it gets easier to deal with these situations. 

Sorry you feel this way, it's not true at all. You're not a failure. 

I've been giving it some thought and it seems there are quite a few communication misunderstandings that happen on online forums we Autistic people use. It must be that as it affects us all in different ways, we're all expecting or used to different styles of communicating.
