Suits me too - lovely and quiet, people seem friendlier while out on a walk, more wildlife around - not seen any squashed squirrels or dead birds anywhere! We watched the rabbits playing in the big field yesterday evening. I like it.
The only odd thing is people's dogs while out walking - they all desperately want to come and say hello but they can't for cross-contamination reasons. They all want a fuss from the strangers they meet. Even the cats along the route are getting desperate for attention - they run after us meowing.

Yes it's lovely for the wildlife. I recently did a double-take; as an adult swan and one of her offspring, had ventured across what had previously been a busy roundabout and were just sitting there watching the odd car pass .... the world feels more balanced.
