confusion with diagnosis

Hello
I am an 18 year old female and have been seeing a psychologist for around a year now. a few months ago she brought up that she thinks I've got Aspergers. i live abroad and so for me to do all the official stuff in order to get a proper diagnoses would cost almost 600 pound. but I'm a bit stuck feeling like I'm only half diagnosed. she put all these ideas in my head that make a lot of sense to me but I don't have anything on paper to prove to others, specifically my family who just think I'm a bit 'quirky', that there are reasons to why I act like I do.

not really sure if I'm looking for tips on what I should do or if I'm just looking for some people who get me a bit more than the people around me.

hope you're all having a good day and this corona stuff isn't being too harsh on you

  • Hey Holly, firstly it’s nothing to worry about if you are not formally diagnosed because fundamentally it’s just a label - you as a person and your personality remains the same with or without the label. There’s also no need to try and change - always be yourself. Anyway, I’m always happy to chat - just drop me a message.
