I'm trying to study while working in a full time job, without my employer knowing, and the techniques I've used in the past, mainly rote learning, aren't effective. I was planning on switching to a more visual style, like mind-mapping. Can anyone can recommend any visual styles of learning which work for them, and does mind-mapping actually work?
