mmr jab

Hello

Apologies if I am posting in the wrong section  but i would like some advice on the MMR jab.  Do you as parents of children feel that there was a definite link between your child getting the MMR jab and being diagnosed / did you notice a difference after your child had the jab.  I am very unsure whether to get the jab for my child due to the possible link.  thanks

  • hi getty hoops.

I understand your dilemma, its confusing isnt it especially when you are scared you may be doing something detrimantal to your child. I admit there was a time where i pondered this too. To be fair there are probably many mums who have the same dilemma.

Its important to remember that no link has ever been found.

Personally i dont think there is any link, my youngest son didnt have the MMR untill much later than it would usually be given and the signs of Autism were already there before he had the Vaccination.

My other children are on the spectrum, i dont think the MMR  jab caused it at all. they were born with Autism. I really dont think that autism is caused by MMR jabs, i think its genetic.  As Tylers Mummy Says you must consider potentially very serious illnesses you leave your child open to if you do not get them the vaccine.

Find out as much as you can and look at the Facts, them make an educated decision
