Apologies if I am posting in the wrong section  but i would like some advice on the MMR jab.  Do you as parents of children feel that there was a definite link between your child getting the MMR jab and being diagnosed / did you notice a difference after your child had the jab.  I am very unsure whether to get the jab for my child due to the possible link.  thanks

  • You as a parent have to make a choice! 

    Yes there is speculation around the MMR, but there is no solid evidence to suggest that the jab causes Autism.  

    I have considered the theory myself, when i remember my son being poorly after he had he's, but then i remember back to stuff he did way before then that was different aswell. My son was born with Autism!

    You also have to consider the risks of not allowing your child to have the MMR, the illness'es you will be making them vunerable to etc.

    At the end of the day, you are going to do what you feel is right, no one can make your mind up for you. All i can suggest is researching the pros and cons and making and educated and informed decision.
