This afternoon, I got the car back from the mechanic. On Saturday, I got the new tax book in the post; then I paid the road tax - in full - that evening online. There was another financial hit, with the money I had to spend on the repairs done. However, I am keeping afloat financially.
This afternoon, I collected a repeat prescription - wearing work gloves and a Jason Voorhees Ice Hockey mask to comply with the Covid-19 precautions. Then I withdrew cash at a post office, then bought some more food - plus dry food for Hope. (the cat who wanders around my premises to sort out the mice)
Tomorrow, I will collect gloves and masks in Cookstown from a community centre there. Then, I'll go to the Home Bargains beside there to buy A4-sized picture frames. And finally drive to Magherafelt to get photographs at a Chemist to renew my driving licence.
All I need now is the MOT exemption certificate.
