Online bullying videos

I've just remembered why I dont get on with my sister. She shared a video today of someone in her town just minding her own business and a nasty individual that makes you tube videos approached laughing at her and making fun.

I obviously got very angry as this poor lady had obvious special needs (I write it as this as I dont know what exactly) and for a man to come charging at her videoing her, mocking and laughing I was disgusted at this is entertaining to people its bullying to me.

My sister who is a carer in mental health said she shouldnt walk like that its attention seeking! I tried to educate her but she replied we have different opinions. She mentioned the lady usually has a carer! So she openly admits this poor lady has a disability whatever that may be.

I told her she should consider her mocking comment as if her work sees it she could be in alot of trouble. She ignored me. My mum will no doubt ignore me too for speaking up. I get called nasty for things like this and get pushed out of the family alot as a trouble maker.

Ps I've been up all night as my breathing is worse please excuse my wording I cant string sentences very well atm

  • Good to hear you're feeling better. I'm okay thanks. Struggling to find a support worker. I have seen many people specifically state they are looking for work but NOT care work. Makes me thing, in connection to your post here, lots of people have negative attitudes about disabled people.

  • Hey Roswell I'm not taking it the wrong way in disgusted by her attitude.

Yes breathings better thank you I had a few bad days. I can go out tomorrow . How are you?

  • Don't take this the wrong way but a lot of people who work in mental health services have dodgy outlooks. I don't always get along with my sisters either. As they say you can't choose your family.

It's an awful way to think though, that it's the disabled person's fault they're being made fun of. That is a bullying attitude.

You did the right thing raising the issue.

Is your breathing better yet? Be safe and look after yourself!
