Ongoing anxiety and panic attacks

Iam a 50 year old.male .I have had anxiety attack on and off on a regular basis .They always follow the same pattern .I go to bed ,suddenly a horrible feeling comes over me ,I can't breath feel like the walls are closing in and iam suffocating ,I have to get up and run outside and go for a walk to calm down whatever the weather .Now this is happening numerous times a week ,even when I go for a walk ,as soon as I come home it starts again feeling of claustrphobia .I can't relax or sleep don't know what to do .Dr told me to try propranol and see how it goes

  • Medication can be great, personally this causes me more problems then it solves but I think I'm in the minority here. Best thing is to try it and see.

    Also humans in general are much more open to suggestion in 2 ten minute windows, as we first wake up and again as we go to sleep. Brain waves shift gradually from one frequency to another and what input we have in those windows makes a huge difference to programming our own minds. Try avoiding social media/email and other 'random' influences during this time and use something positive for a couple of weeks to see if it helps. I tried having a constructive task planned and ready for the morning, and specific videos like this one as I went to sleep and got decent results.
