Heathorw Airport Assistance

Hello

My family will be travelling to India from Heathrow Airport in 3 weeks.

My brother is autistic and it is very challenging for him to be in very busy environments such as the airport especially when he is tired (it is an evening flight.)

We really need some sort of assistance with the long queues for check in, security etc. My brother will not stand still for longer then a few moments and will not remain seated in a wheelchair and is too big for us to carry. We cannot explain to him what is going on because he is mentally around the age of two.

The airline we are travelling with would only arrange wheelchair assistance but he will not remain seated on it. We do have a mclarans superlite buggy but the assistants will not push that for us so we cannot use the wheelchair lane.

Has anyone travelled via Heathrow before and what help/assistance or escort have they recieved?? Any suggestions or advice on what you did, and who to call would be great.

There is no way we will be able to stand in the hour long queues which form and the date is looming closer so I would appreciate any ideas you have.
