First adult passport interview!

Has anybody here ever had to attend a first adult passport interview? My son has one tomorrow and we don't know what to expect. Any help or advice on what questions might be asked would be most appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you for your response. It helped alleviate our anxiety quite a lot. It went well and the passport is now on it's way.

Hello, yes I had one about five years ago. From what I remember it was just someone asking me about the details that I had given on the application, as well as my referee etc. Just simple things. They also ask you to switch phones off. It wasn't particularly daunting and they didn't try to trip me up, so unless it has dramatically changed then your son should be ok. Best wishes.
