Does anyone else ever feel like speaking nonsense?

Several times in my life I would say things like oeihfresofhseoufhseuofh to my mother for several days running and refuse to engage in English conversation. I dislike communication because people abuse it. They take it for granted. They don't really care what I say most the time. So what's the point in communicating anyway? Well, that's one way of looking at it.

  • I think some people are antagonistic by nature.

However, I'm no longer easily offended.

But, I agree that Social Media is BS. Antisocial Media, I call that.

  • I do this too when i am spinning with creativity but don't have the possibility to channel it into anything else. Some of my made up words (well they are mostly glued together bits of words and syllables but some made up garbage) creep into use at work, as it's an international place so not everyone realises the words are made up.

I find it really funny when i hear a made up word like spoogie or florp being used.  Last week i was talking about a crumberjack, my made up name for a person who spills too many crumbs when eating bread.  As an aspie it's very important that this word exists as I despise crumbs !     The very next day, crumberjack was repeated somewhere else in the office.  Yes!

I like to revive old words that are out of use, like "goof" as well.

  • Those who talks the loudest says nothing, we live in a very vain world sadly and social media doesn't help.

I'm sure there has been studies on the effects of social media on society that effects mental health.

Social media is a fantasy construct that no one can really live up to, its fake and bad for people health.

Then we have the racists, bigots and so on who think freedom of speech is some sort of birthright, forgetting that they should try and nurture caring, love and compassion instead.

  • Alas, I am "only" 59 years old, and I still have yet to learn why The Humans (that is what I call typical members of my (apparently) species). When I am forced to walk among The Humans, the amount of *NOISE* they spew from their mouths is staggering--- and most of that noise is utterly superfluous. They use 800 words to say something that requires maybe 10 or 15 words. Worse, they just keep talking, and talking, and talking.... AND NEVER SAY ANYTHING WORTH HEARING! Perhaps worse of all, The Humans do not think before they talk: a trait I have been accused of, but in a different way (I tell people the truth when they ask for it: The Humans *HATE* that).

Regarding your verbal behavior "at" your mother, only a professional health care provider should offer an opinion.

  • To myself, but aloud. No one is listening anyway. Or rather, they probably are listening from afar, but want no real part of it. I suppose it all is part of the deal with being marginalised in the workplace and in society. I'm basically harmless to them, as long as I don't ever expect to be part of the mainstream.

  • I have made up words but make an effort to make them sound authentic. It's interesting to see if people pick up on it.
