Autism + BPD

Has anyone else had a diagnosis of BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder)? It makes everything so much harder, I would like to make some friends going through something similar

  • I hope that you do find some people who you can relate to. From what I understand, BPD is a very challenging condition to live with.

    Many people here will have had a misdiagnosis of BPD/EUPD or at least mentions of/suspicions of that before they got their autism diagnosis. It is not uncommon, especially for women, to get misdiagnosed with various mental health problems until they get properly assessed for autism. Because autism is still unfortunately seen as a 'male' condition and BPD as a 'female' condition, autism is often missed in women.
