Review of Medication

Just wondered if anyone has has a review of their medication and what their experience was?

Did you request it? Did the doctor request it?

Was you prescribed a different medication? Did it help? Did it make you feel worse?

  • It's nothing - I have tons of prescriptions  - a review of medication is an NHS thing to see if you've recovered from whatever you needed the meds for so they can save the money - no point keeping prescribing things that you don't need or don't get used.   They're also checking the meds still work and you're not suffering any horrible side effects.

    Pharmacists love doing them because they get a cash incentive - I think it was £54 a few years ago - for each one they do.

    If you still need the meds, you still get them - nothing to worry about.
