Hi again, 

I’ve recently been through the meetings with psychologists, speech and language therapists and occupational therapists, and my mam has had a meeting with them on her own regarding my early development. 

Today i I received two letters from them, one saying I have a meeting with the occupational therapist regarding the outcome of my assessment, but also another saying I have 2 additional meetings on different dates following the first with the same OT. 

Does anyone one have any experience of this or know why I have been given so many meetings? I’m kind of freaking out that I need to attend three more meetings in the space of 3 weeks...

  • to me, it sounds like , the first one is their report back as to what they think u have ie ur diagnosis.

    The following ones might be post-diagnostic meetings to talk over how to handle things going forward or explain more about your diagnosis. this might include outlining support groups / teams u can use. do not be afraid this is all good.

    attend them all.  good luck.
