I once met someone who told me that I could talk to her because she ‘wanted to understand me’. So I talked to her about what I find difficult and then she started bullying me.
Does anyone else here have any similar experiences?
I think that understanding and genuinely wanting to understand is so important to us humans. Understanding is often not given the importance it needs to be given. So many other things may follow on from understanding-kindness, charity, patience, forgiveness, hope, peace, joy, knowledge, kind words, coolness of spirit, easier relationships, trust, goodness, uprightness,
I think that this particular quote from the Bible would be a good idea at this point because it is true that it is good to get wisdom and understanding:
‘Blessed is the one who finds wisdom and the one who gets understanding’.
Humans may say or write all sorts of things and we should think about what we hear or read and think about what we should accept but above all love is the feeling or power or whatever it is exactly (the song ‘where is love from ‘Oliver’ I just thought about) that guides us to the truth. Truth is a description of reality and as such cannot contradict itself but love is not a description of reality but a fact of existence and that is why love guides us to truth and trust is based in love so if anyone feels love then trust may follow on from this.
Wherever we find good things we should hold on to them and realise that this world is not as it should be and when looking for perfection anywhere or in anything on this planet I think perfection can’t be found here except that love can be found and we should hold on to this feeling and love each other as we should. We should stop meanless bickering and realise that it is love that is perfect. We are limited in our understanding it seems sometimes, as humans, but with love we can understand.
I would like to take this opportunity to say that I hope that we are all striving to understand eachother and act with charity and kindness as we live together as humans at this time. It would be to our advantage to do so. I feel so much love and I always have. I am capable of feeling this great love because I am made like this. I hope that everyone will feel love and never let go of love and I hope that we will share love and give love and that we will then have love, understanding and wisdom.
