We are...

If this were the start of a sentence, I’m wondering, what would you write to complete the rest of the sentence so that the rest of the sentence explains what ‘we are’ means.

You may decide what the context of ‘we are’ could be.

Would you explain too what the context is that you choose regarding we are.

Thanks!

  • It just has to be -for me , anyway "We are Devo" (look to the album charts of 40-odd years ago)

Or, if you still think that it is worth communicating with the Neurotypicals: "We are no more able to change how our minds work than you are capable of changing your eye colour" then take it from there.

Ultimately, it doesn't matter, I suppose, We are who we are and are doing our best to be a part of this world and contribute just like everybody else, we know that but would be setting ourselves up for disappointment and pain if we ever found ourselves in counting upon the NT's to see us as their equals and treat us as such.

They are not able and in any case, society is so fractured and everything is tilted towards antagonistic discourse and cheap point-scoring, the "weaker" ones-i.e those of us who cannot function normally to save our lives get regularly screwed over by those who know the system and how to exploit it.

Am I bitter?..perhaps but I find that my normal saintly disposition and ready forgiveness are near to being totally worn out.

I always try to be the good guy, reliable, honest, hard-working but it follows so very often that I get treated and regarded as if I am the very opposite and for no good reason other than I am an easy target being always on the outside, entirely without allies.
