I think joy is deeper than happiness. I think it's contentment in spite of circumstances. I had joy when I was going through the bipolar diagnosis process. I remember listening to 'You Raise Me Up' by Josh Groban the night before my appointment and feeling nervous but more importantly, calm.
Most definitely. When I was cycling at speed past trees and fields and the sun was there. I was amazed at how such simple things gave such joy. But now the meditation apps have taken natural images to sell their products
helping others was good and then the widely acclaimed sex of course but that depended a lot on self analysis at the time
