How do we get NAS or someone else to intervene in this case:
I don't know any more details than is described in the news article but I recognise in the defence a description of someone very much like a young me. I didn't have access to the Internet at 19 and fortunately never made the silly mistake of touching a girl's arm but..
How the hell can the prosecuting lawyer think that someone wouldn't look up online 'how to make friends' and how the hell can the magistrate think that touching someone can only be a sexual thing? I mean, if that's the case, does anybody have access to the CPS because I have around 49000 crimes to report where people have touched me without my consent.
This feels like something is missing, either from the write-up in the news or from the behaviour of the CPS and the magistrate, but I don't know what to do about it. I'm just feeling deeply distressed and worried.
