Last week I wrote down a routine for the week I instantly felt better, is this something that helps anyone else, I think I've been a lot better from doing it?

Sure, I don't do it all the time; but quite often when a long list of heavy responsibilities are beginning to build up. But make sure that your routine is flexible enough to adapt to unforeseen difficulties in an enjoyable fashion. And also make sure there are some of your personal leisure activities on the list. I imagine most of us here are very capable of thoroughly enjoying stuff that others find a bit dull and tedious, but there should always be room in your routine for some flat-out fun stuff. We all deserve a bit less hassle from others, but we should also hassle ourselves less often.

Its more a routine of things I enjoy eg my martial arts walking the dog otherwise I get so bored that I just drink and that never ends well for me, I find if I have nothing to do I'm just pacing around frustrated and then just cave in
