    Hello,

It can be difficult to make sense of these diagnostic reports. You could ask your GP to explain the report more fully for you. Also ask your GP if there are any support groups in your area. It can be helpful to talk with other autistic people as they are often knowledgeable about everything autistic.

Sometimes under ICD - 10 classification, there is a type description. Not always though. So, for example, F84.1 is Atypical autism; F84.5 is Asperger’s syndrome.

These days it is quite common to only give the diagnosis ASC, without offering further detailed categorisation.

  • thanks as graham as said i go to doctors for the example f84.1 breakdown .

    thanks for all

    end
