There are many factors that make someone attractive to a potential partner - a job is just one of those. What else is interesting about you? What else do you have to offer? I prefer a brain and sense of humour. Everything else can be transitory. Looks fade, jobs change, circumstances change. There are so many things you can do to make yourself attractive - although going out to meet people is the most important - you can't win the game if you don't play.
