so im 32 and recently diagnosed as Aspergers and I feel I could really benefit from the befriending scheme but it doesn’t look like the offer it to adults in my area, in fact I don’t think they do it for anyone.
Its a real shame as I think I really need it, like I want to start going to the gym but I always fail and give up when I do it on my own and would prosper if I had a buddy. Also being an avid gamer I would love to make some autistic friends online, maybe so irl ones too, to go cinema with or just to get a coffee.
Unfortunately this is impossible due to the lack of adult services and I can even ask on here as it’s not safe to disclose personal info.
So instead I’m just gonna get fatter and lonelier lol.
