Not this forum, to set the scene I am planning to go to an event this weekend around one of my interests.
One of the forum members is giving away part of his collection to dispose of, and posting messages about items
I am interested in items in one message and send him a pm.
He replies another member has pipped you to the post and claimed the items along with similar items in several messages. He says if there is anything he is not interested in, I could have (he claimed all items of this type)
So I send a pm to the member who claimed the items, and he is happy for me to have them, and sends a message to the member disposing the items to re-allocate them to me.
All seems straight forward, but I am confused by following replies:
The member disposing says "I reserve the right to get confused"
The member who claimed says "Ha Ha"
The items appear to sill be allocated to the original member who claimed them
Any ideas what's going on ?
This does sound a bit confusing. Do you know the person disposing of the items? If so, you could perhaps explain that you're unsure of what happens next.
