Emotion AI - machine readable emotions in humans

Just been reading this article about Emotion AI which is cited in this article in being used to read emotional responses to advertising.

How well would this tech work for reading the emotional registers of those on the spectrum?

Would you value a tool or app which would be able to communicate to you other peoples emotions making it potentially easier to know earlier when you are about to make a social faux pas?

  • I'm really sceptical of any media stories involving AI - most are totally fake and are just media releases placed by the company trying to sucker-in some investment.

NT marketing people are so dumb and gullible that they probably believe this can make more profits for them - so will invest in the tech.
