Diagnosed!

I'm done with Christmas Cards

Finally, after 19 months waiting and soul searching, I have my positive diagnosis. I'm just back home after the ADOS which gave the missing piece of the jigsaw to the clinicians. There was more chat & less "tasks" than I expected, but that was all to the good as it helped them to complete the picture.

Thank you so much to all of you for your words of encouragement so far; now we start chapter 2!

  • Well done on finding out on your ASC. When you look back on life choices and what you've always struggled with and what you've always been good at you will realise that possibly your autism played a part in things. 

    I never got excited with my diagnosis more frustrated and annoyed than anything that I had gone through life struggling and not knowing what it was.

    Anyway hopefully a start to a new chapter for you : )
