Quick question. Has anybody used a NAS advocate for work related issues, If so did it help?
I have an ongoing issue at work which some are aware of, which has damn near put paid to me! I raised a grievance and finally they seem to be accepting my AS diagnosis as a disability. They now seem to want to engage but all of a sudden my word for what affects me and what is good for me isn't enough they want to involve an advocate, on the one hand it may be benificial to me but on the other I find it quite insulting that my opinion about me isn't enough for them, or is it just lip service or an Ars* covering exercise?
Any input, experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated.
