I made a new claim for new style ESA. I’ve never claimed disability benefits before but I have realised I’m not well enough to work at the moment. I requested a new style esa form and was sent one but it doesn’t ask anything about my disability. Just details about my address, NI number and go surgery etc.
an appointment has been booked for me at the local job centre to discuss my claim. What’s this all about?

Ive been told I’m best claiming esa instead of the disability element of universal credit. as I’ve worked previously for the last two years. I’ve been given no info on what to expect or anything I might need to bring. Will they ask me person details about my disability as it’s a huge open plan space with my work coaches desk right near the waiting area.
