What are your daily struggles?

I’ve recently had to give up a professional job as it all got too much for me.

my struggles are literally the women I wake up.

i find it so difficult to get up in the morning. I always wake up groggy, grumpy and feeling exhausted.

i find I need to be alone for an hour or so in the morning or I feel anxious and grumpy.

by afternoon I’m okay but my morning struggles would make getting a job difficult.

if there’s is anything different about my day I almost shut down. So if my parents have a visitor over I get distressed.

as I’m job hunting I’m finding just knowing I have an interview very stressful. Even days before I’m due to go. I can’t imagine how I will cope with the actual interview.

Does anyone experience struggles like mine? What are your daily struggles?

  • Like you, getting going in the morning is a (massive) problem - I can definitely not deal with other humans first thing either. I also struggle a lot with sensory issues and being in crowds which makes commuting a special kind of hell. However, I live on my own and have a job that I start at 10:00 which makes things doable (though still not easy) as I have a bit longer to get going and can miss rush hour. Adjustments like that might help you with a job? I don’t think I would cope at all if I worked full time.

Again like you changes, uncertainty etc can also cause me massive issues. I haven’t had to do interviews in a while but I can imagine that it must be incredibly stressful. I think I’d worry days in advance too.
