Nice bit of support from Autism Hampshire

I had a really nice & reassuring chat with someone from Autism Hampshire on Friday. Wish I could remember the lady's name but can't.

Basically about a half hour raising some of the questions I've already asked on here & the following positive results:

1. A really useful statement "I have two significant autistic traits [which cause me difficulties]." Square brackets indicate that there's a "long version" and "short version". Neither is as short as "I'm autistic" but still quite succinct and certainly enough for now, should I ever need it (which is unlikely but it's nice to be prepared).

2. Reassurance that the ADOS does cover the "missing bits of my *full* diagnosis" and that team are good at seeing past decades of masking (she knows them well).

3. She believes that I *will* have an opportunity to provide further input, and discuss the outcome on the day.

This is all really fab news as far as I'm concerned! Just 4 weeks to go and this is giving me confidence that the result will be correct (whichever way it turns out).
