My husband was diagnosed with ADHD in adulthood (approx 2 years ago) but has been having some problems with addition and spent some time in a residential rehab facility. While there they got him to take the AQ test and answered the questions for him - apparently to make it less likely he would cheat or misunderstand the questions. I'm told he scored 100% on the test and should be referred for a full assessment.
I was just wondering if anyone has ever scored very highly on an AQ test and not ended up with an ASD diagnosis?
