Can autism be used as an excuse for bad behaviour ?

I would agree with plastic. 

But what is the behaviour? Some nt's consider stimming bad behaviour and in that case I would argue that it is lack of understanding 

I am not entirely sure what it is I have done wrong, to be called bad behaviour but given what noises have been made I am inclined to consider, my special interest in addition to my stilted communication when I am upset is part of it, but beyond that with restricted communication my attempts to communicate by way of web articles on autism of which I understand  is not being well received, to consider am damned if I do and damned if I don't.

The group I was in as today I removed myself from the drama, on the grounds of protecting my mental health, I quit

But facebook, I am admin on two other FB groups, to run safe spaces.

What Plastic said plus quite possibly it is Facebook. have you considered whether you are in the right group on the right channel for an autistic person. FB is the ultimate clicky tribalism game.

The written word is very easy to misinterpret.   People reading the same things can each add their own emotions to it and infer a totally different meaning to what you say.  That's life.  

I understand feeling deceived is going to cause a problem. But have you tried taking a step back and letting the situation calm down? If it is on Facebook I would suggest just stop I understand you want to prove your side and Show you are right but sometimes arguing makes it worse

I know it is easier said than done.

Might I also say a prime factor in this whole sorry mess is Facebook

Well it currently appears my attempt to communicate by way of web articles is the latest offence, the latest amongst a string of offences. just because I had a bad reaction to being deceived.

Have you tried asking what exactly you have done that is being described as bad behaviour? It could be a simple misunderstanding made worse by the nt's lack of awareness and your communication problems.
