Friends on this forum

I have a recurring habit of reversing myself out of friendship groups online at the first hint of any kind of "trouble" - I've had more Twitter, Facebook and Instagram accounts than I can remember, going through cycles of deleting accounts and setting up new accounts and un-following / re-following people.

I partly reversed myself out of this forum by unfriending most of my friends on here after "it all kicked off" over the last few weeks.

I'm a Muppet I know & I'm sorry if anyone noticed and got upset.

Please don't take it personally and don't hesitate to send me a friend request if you want to.

  • I resemble this topic. Several times I built up friend lists on Facebook, then deleted everyone and my account. Then started all over.

I'm guessing most people don't do this, though!

  • Well sounds like two of us do ......... I've come off social media altogether apart from Instagram for a particular hobby and feel much less stressed for being away from it all. I do miss people sometimes, and sometimes wish I had somewhere convenient to say "hey, what about this....." but I realise now that my posts like that are only really saying "hey, look at *me* talking about this.....". I'm trying to build up little circles on WhatsApp instead - where you talk to specific people when you want to rather than shouting into the Abyss.......
