A lot is said on the internet about maternal hypo but not a lot is said about hypo in children and even less about hyper. I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism at the age of nine. I was very ill with it; hallucinations, and many physical issues. I'm pretty sure I must have had the illness long before it was diagnosed albeit in a more dormant state, and that this affected my brain development as a child and had a direct link to my autism.
Does anyone else have any info. on hyper (must stress not hypo) and autism. It's also sometimes called Graves' disease?
Thanks.
